Description: Runty and weak-looking, he is wearing a tight tan one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. He wears his red hair down. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left leg, he is dressed in a clean grey cloak covering his clean studded leather. He sports a long black beard, and similarly colored long hair. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep amber.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: The dark-skinned man stands 3'2" and is typically in his Layabout uniform. He has a very tight haircut. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and expand his business

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and tends to wear a large violet jacket. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Miles embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Miles was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and seeks redemption

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes brigands are coming to abduct people. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and she feels threatened by others

Description: He is a husky man, who wears grey robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a trident, but if one is not available he will default to his longbow. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover his moderate length chestnut hair. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the east. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the east were limited. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Mason for hire.

History: Born to a Scribe, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His first spouse was a Scribe, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and wants to raise his children well
