History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Volen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Volen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Volen. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Riardon alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: She got into the Laborer business at a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Gardener. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Bimpnottin was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She's also a talented Shoemaker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
