History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Drenna was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. The war was a terrible time for her, and Harriet does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Harriet was born on a far southern forest where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Carter. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family His first spouse was a Miner, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and regain custody of his daughter

History: He got into the Shepherd business at a young age. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Shepherd. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. Through the years after Ahlyssa was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Ahlyssa's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Ahlyssa and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born in the south to a Shepherd, Ermina learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Shepherd for hire.
