History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Ella liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Dragonborns in the east were limited. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and doesn't want to be a sailor and was forced into it by her family

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He comes from a rich western family. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.
