History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Veit was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Veit's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
