Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He wears rags and sports a simple walking cane, marred by sweets. He has wavy blonde hair. His fierce blue eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Laborer profession.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dwarves in Barendd's homeland. Barendd decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Tanner.

Description: Her skin has the orange glow of too much sun. She wears a blue coat over a green low-cut shirt, and a feathered hat upon her head. She keeps her silver hair in a pixie cut. Her hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: In the realm of puns, she cannot help herself. She feels obliged to make them. Lorilla enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She's also a talented Barber, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and balancing her hectic life and new bounty hunter responsibilities is difficult

Description: She wears an entirely pastel suit with red socks and a vest with buckled shoes, and she perpetually has her sword ready. She keeps her gray fur in a flapper bob. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep green.
Personality: Shifting speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.
History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the south. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shifting grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shifting. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.
Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: He was born in a small plains village. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.
History: She was raised in a desert tribe. Nala was born on a far northern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Sculptor. She bought a falchion and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.
History: Mara lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mara fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
