Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gardain embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Gardain hails from a village terrorized by orcs. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She was granted divine powers by her dying brother.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. A freak accident while working with her Unemployed father left her crippled. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Further expansion of business.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. While she appears to be a normal Half-Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
