History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Hrathy was a troubled youth. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Vani was born on a far eastern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Map Maker. Some 5 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Vani never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Brakka was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Brakka's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He is content; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
