History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Tanner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has never given up on her writing dream.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. Tomi is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Fortune-teller mother left him crippled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 6'8" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing green cape and mantle trimmed with soft black waves gently in the breeze. Her copper crest is braided into rings. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She takes great joy in being the best Layabout in town.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Layabout.

Motivation: She is content; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and doesn't want to be a crown-heir and was forced into it by her family

Description: This woman stands a little under 3'10" and is a bit bulky. She is very muscular particularly in the legs. She is typically in her Banker uniform. She sports red long hair. Her hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: She was raised in a plains tribe. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Many gnolls want her driven away; and balancing her hectic life and new banker responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Shamil embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Shamil was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To protect her home; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
