History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Being a Courier kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he is armored in gleaming platemail with gilded edges. A flowing brown cape and mantle trimmed with soft blue waves gently in the breeze. His long brown fur is drawn into a two foot long braid. His eyes are hazel and beady.

Personality: Cask wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Sorcerer, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Barkeep arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. After a long history of fighting, Cask and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: This petite short woman is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. She wears a robe, a symbol of the sun god around her neck, and a sword on her belt, marred by sweets. She has wavy white hair. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Perra alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Perra was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the orcs.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Hunter. He struck the Hunter job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: He was born in the south. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. A true patriot, Manfred would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His childhood dream was to be a Barrister, but he was a colossal failure. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Herbalist for the past few years.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away; and he wants revenge against giants

Description: This man prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman, and sports empty pouches on his belt. He keeps his yellow fur in a flapper bob. His eyes are copper and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
