So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Farmer arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Smoking fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. After a long history of fighting, Markosian and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Born in the south to a Mayor, Oda learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. A gifted student she started as a Farmer, but she got bored and became a Mayor. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Miller business.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Miller work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miller work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Tanner who has hired her part-time. Diesa enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Barber they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Tanner, and she later adopted a second son.
