History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Paymon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying east to reunite her family. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. The war was a terrible time for her, and Egelina does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Gifted from a young age, Egelina studied abroad. After coming to the age of reason, Egelina took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was granted divine powers by her dying sister.
