History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Joan was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Joan decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Expand his business; and to be a sailor again

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Halflings. His skin is dark but he possesses many yellow ritualistic tattoos. He is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. His blonde hair is braided into rings. His eyes are green.

Personality: Oren speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears a worn and beaten armor. His black hair is matted, messy, and big. His black eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: He got into the Marshal business at a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Marshal. He has achieved small success as a Marshal.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Description: This eastern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and yellow, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His blue hair is long and unkept. He has black eyes and a black hat with a yellow feather.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 13th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Description: A woman with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. She dresses in green turtlenecks beneath a tan coat with brown slacks. She keeps her scarlet crest in a pixie cut. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady gold eyes.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She works hard and plays hard.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: She is greedy; and wants to work out more often

Description: An older man who wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body, he is not a threatening figure. He wears a colorful flower in his auburn hair. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 56. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Wants a kiss; and wants his loneliness to end
