History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: He comes from a rich southern family. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. After a long history of fighting, Thradal and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She got into the Miner business at a young age. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Rangrim was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Beggar, but he got bored and became a Stableman. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
