History: He was born into a rich family. Tethren was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Tethren decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact.

History: She comes from a rich western family. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. During her travels, Siffress and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Siffress discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Siffress fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: Pandjed was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Engraver hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has achieved small success as a Engraver.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His first spouse was a Spy, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Adran lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Himo was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spy. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
