Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. History: Zanna was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Orc conditions. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Beggar business.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Arannis was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Arannis's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Arannis and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He tends to his Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: She is cool and collected. She likes to make quips and puns whenever she does anything. She also makes a point to compliment her superiors and flatter them. Callybon enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Priest hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Roland was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Roland abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
