Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty tan coat over it. His auburn hair is singed and shortened. His amber eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Erky hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

Personality: Fragrant is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories she has discovered

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and seeks redemption

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. She works hard and plays hard.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
