History: Born in the west to a Spice Merchant, Carrie learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His family was turned out during the war. History: Gifted from a young age, Mardnab studied abroad. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Body Guard. With a patchy brown beard and wild brown hair. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.
History: Frug was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Frug was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.
Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and a deep hatred of drow

Description: She wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. She is physically well-built. Her golden hair is thinning but still full. Her eyes are gray and she is always smoking a pipe.
Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.
History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.
Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of brigands may trigger it at times.
History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Tiefling companion (her 'brother'). She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

History: Astar was born the youngest of three triplets. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing music.
History: Erky was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: He comes from a rich western family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: She wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. She is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly lances and swords. Her white hair is heavily combed to the left. Her blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Half-Elf in existence. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.
History: Irann hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Irann grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Irann. Being a Mayor kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
Motivation: Many brigands want her driven away; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
