History: Nyx was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At a young age her father died while driving off some dire rats. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in morningstar use. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.
