History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He struck the Fortune-teller job and began his own company from there.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A freak accident while working with her Knight father left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
