History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Semyaza grew up listening to her mother's many stories. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Semyaza took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up spear and armor she uses now. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Galiena was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Galiena alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. Some 6 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Gale never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mormog fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

History: Lagazi was born with her mother's beautiful face. When Lagazi reached her early adolescence her Half-Orc mother passed away.
