History: Az-Rans lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind.
