History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Her father taught her the rudiments of the Stableman arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Maynild was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gilbert is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bookbinder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
