Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He has a habit of throwing himself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Gnomes in the east were limited. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is a great chef.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is greedy.

Description: 3'1" and muscular, this western man dresses in red turtlenecks beneath a tan coat with grey slacks. He sports a long auburn beard, and similarly colored long hair. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered poetry. In the meantime he has taken over work as a Carter and occasionally as a mercenary.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: He is a small man, but exceptionally fit. He wears a black vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His brown leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his black boots flare out at the collars. His hair is cut close to his head. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Braak liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
