Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Nutae's homeland. Nutae decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. The war was a terrible time for her, and Dariff does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Over the years she perfected her riding and shooting skills. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Naamah isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Tiefling unity. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
