History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Heian was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many illithids want him driven away

History: Immeral hails from a village terrorized by giants. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Spy and was forced into it by his family; and to unite with his brother

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Layabout but believes her peers are too gung-ho.
History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.
History: Born to a Hunter, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Drenna was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Drenna decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Pelt decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. Description: This woman dresses in brown turtlenecks beneath a black coat with brown slacks. She is muscular with a powerful set of arms. Her white hair is cut short. She has several tiny ruby earrings on each ear.
Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Adelaide was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
Motivation: An old rival family wants her found.
