History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: She was born in the south. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Tree grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tree. She would ruin relationships and cause injury. She was reprimanded several times before being given her current form and forced to learn humility.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Actor they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Baker, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
