History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Aline grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Aline. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: She is mildly Dragonborn supremacist, though she does not identify as such. She is a great chef.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with her Fortune-teller mother left her crippled. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Dariff's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and she is content

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing writing.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and a rival would like her out of the picture

History: She got into the Fisher business at a young age. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. After a long history of fighting, Eggren and her spouse have recently divorced.

When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
