History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Moon was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sai.

History: Griselda was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Griselda abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive.
