Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. The war was a terrible time for him, and Kipper does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has worked as a Brewer like his father before him.

Description: This woman is tall and muscular. She prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for her hunting needs. Her hair is greying and her face has many wrinkles. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the east. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. After a long history of fighting, Kali and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and wants to work out more often

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She bought a lance and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Balam was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Balam's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
