History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gimurt was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. A gifted student she started as a Cartwright, but she got bored and became a Bather. She's also a talented Cartwright, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. After a long history of fighting, Bathin and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Bricklayer. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed.
