History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. In her 15th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Left-Handed fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Through the years after Abad was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north.
