History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the west. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Modean was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Modean alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her childhood dream was to be a Animal Trainer, but she was a colossal failure. She now owns her own business.

She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. After a long history of fighting, Cecily and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and to clean up the streets
