History: Gifted from a young age, Jasmine studied abroad. As a very small child her family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. Her mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect her and cast a teleportation spell that whisked her away. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and many orcs want him driven away

History: Kite lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Dwarven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Dwarven doctor. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
