Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.
History: The child of a Shepherd, who enjoyed hunting, Bathin was taken on many hunting expeditions. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and doesn't want to be a map maker and was forced into it by his family

Description: He wears silk and lounges about seductively. He is portly but not overly obese. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His half smiles and gray eyes are beguiling and draw you in.
Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.
History: He is a Deep Scion in disguise. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and obtaining odd cultural halfling artifacts is his passion

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.
History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Map Maker. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shava fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a fancy green suit. His hair is chestnut and very short. His silver eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.
History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Description: She is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 3'3" when asserting herself. She keeps her long white hair kept up in a rat tail. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Her philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.
History: Born to a Bookbinder, her father struggled to pay the bills. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Guard. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. At a young age his father died while driving off some illithids. Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.
History: Pyntle was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.
Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and meet up once more with her childhood friend
