History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Hoshû was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hoshû fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Detective they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Scribe, and she later adopted a second daughter.

History: Oppleby was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He's also a talented Butcher, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in.
