History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Description: She wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. Her auburn hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. She has amber eyes and a brown hat with a green feather.
Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.
History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Helja fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it.

Description: A plain young-adult man, he wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gray.
Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.
History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and to reunite with his old friends

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He is obsessed with his god.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: She wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. She has a moderate pudge and is not very fit. Her long cinnamon fur is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.
History: Shifting was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Locksmith hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and doesn't want to be a locksmith and was forced into it by her family

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.
History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Edge and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and he's repulsed by the pc

Description: She wears just a pastel suit. She has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. She wears a top hat to hide her balding. Her blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.
History: Aura was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Mercenary. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
