History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. Greeba is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Greeba was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Being a Farmer kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ishte embodies much of what other species detest in the Tieflings. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the south. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
