Description: Relatively heavier built than your average man, he is not imposing. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His black hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.
History: He comes from a rich western family. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he is greedy

Description: Her left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise she appears quite healthy. She wears a robe, a symbol of luck around her neck, and a glaive on her belt. Her long silver hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep brown.
Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.
History: Falkrunn hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Falkrunn was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.
Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it.

Description: This late middle aged woman wears a tan vest with golden trim over her white shirt. Her green leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her tan boots flare out at the collars and is in decent physical shape. Her moppish auburn hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Her violet unseeing eyes seem to look past you.
Personality: She's a bit of a prankster. She knows she is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.
History: The child of a Knight, who enjoyed hunting, Panana was taken on many hunting expeditions. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Erky abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longbow.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Arumawann embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Map Maker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Map Maker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
