Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. A true patriot, Raer would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature falchion.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Ostracized due to the divine powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dragonborns became a terror of the countryside. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Masseuse. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. Quilla liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 9 years.

Motivation: To be a Unemployed again; and an old rival family wants her found

History: Laucian was born with his mother's beautiful face. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carpenter. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Carpenter for the past few years.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and to reunite with his old friends

Description: This northern woman's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, she slurs her words together. She wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. She wears her white crest down. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and she wants to get laid

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she usually wears her violet robe and has her bastard sword always slung over her shoulder. Her black hair is singed and shortened. She wears an eyepatch.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her religion dominates her actions

Description: This man stands a little under 4'5" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a brown costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. He has a chestnut handlebar mustache and slicked back chestnut hair. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and a deep hatred of illithids

Description: He is a pot bellied northern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. He has styled his black hair well, parting it to the right. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Masseuse hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
