His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Oren took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up whip and armor he uses now. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He is mildly Dwarf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. After coming to the age of reason, Merla took it upon herself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Some 5 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Merla never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
