He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: She was born in the south. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Gynnie is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.
