Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. After coming to the age of reason, Shanairla took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. After a long history of fighting, Shanairla and her spouse have recently divorced.

She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: Born in the west to a Spice Merchant, Paggen learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Spice Merchant work with an outfit from a few towns over.
