Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Torz's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Through the years after Torz was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Torz's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Engraver they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Bookbinder, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Half-Elven people.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His childhood dream was to be a Barkeep, but he was a colossal failure. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Bowyer.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and he feels threatened by others

History: Vaina was born with her mother's beautiful face. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Glassblower work with an outfit from a few towns over. Glassblower work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Wrenn was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
