History: Born in the east to a Butcher, Umpen learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Umpen took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up shield and armor he uses now. He now mingles about in high society.

When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: Birel is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She always admired druidic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and she's repulsed by the pc

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Halfling culture. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He saw the violence of war and the aftermath so he converted to religion and dedicated himself to non-violence.

Motivation: Halfling compassion; and wants to work out more often

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is ready at a moment's notice to give into his darker urges. He is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. He often ends up burning people alive in the fires he starts.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and seeks redemption

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world
