History: Jo hails from a village terrorized by giants. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Jo was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. Fivin enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Fivin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and seeks redemption

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Pearl isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: She was born in a small island village. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Pearl grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Pearl. She bought a scimitar and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: Nissa was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. When Nissa reached her early adolescence her Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He has never given up on his dancing dream.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gifted student he started as a Banker, but he got bored and became a Priest. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
