History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. A freak accident while working with her Painter father left her crippled. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Painter. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Andraste was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. History: Thorpe hails from a village terrorized by drow. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his mother's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered drow who tried to eat his hand. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She dropped out of school to support her sick father, and resented it. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His childhood dream was to be a Mortician, but he was a colossal failure. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
