History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Jane was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Torgga was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

History: Richard hails from a village terrorized by goblins. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Richard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Mantus was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Crown-heir. He tends to his Crown-heir job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: To be a Laborer again; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
