History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Junk Dealer. He's also a talented Scribe, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Uthûg was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. Roland is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Roland lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: 2'11" and muscular, this western woman usually wears her white robe and has her bastard sword always slung over her shoulder. Her hair, while still mostly white, has prominent grey streaks. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Barber but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Personality: This woman loves music and to teach people music more than just about anything. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered music. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She was an apprentice working in her mother's forge. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she is greedy

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and an old rival family wants him found

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born to a Layabout, his father struggled to pay the bills. His necromantic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.

Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When Ellyjoybell reached her early adolescence her Gnome mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
