History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His childhood dream was to be a Fletcher, but he was a colossal failure. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Havilar grew up listening to her mother's many stories. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Ranala's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the north. She took after her mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her mother taught her to defend herself. When her mother died while fighting dire rats, the young Ranala began to lead the lost caravan. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she's repulsed by the pc

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants.
